Upcycled Holiday Garland

I find myself with 5 free minutes, so I thought I’d stop in to my long-overlooked blog and post a little holiday crafting tidbit.

I finished an upcycled Christmas tree garland this afternoon. Most of the beads are from a necklace I bought from the thrift store for $3. The rest are leftover from a garland project we did last year.

I used heavyweight nylon thread and a needle to string all of the beads. The only pattern I followed is putting two smaller beads between each larger one. Otherwise it’s pretty freestyle.

It’s going to look great on our tree this year!! It’s about 18 feet long so it should give good coverage.

I hope to have more holiday crafting projects to post. After Christmas, of course.
